Orvis Hot Springs Policies & General Information
Our policies are intended to ensure an enjoyable and relaxing experience
for everyone at Orvis.
We treat all guests equally.

| Office and reception hours are 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM. Office phone:

| Registration for room guests and all vehicles is between 3:00 PM
to 9:00 PM. Any room guest wishing to arrive early to soak may do
so as early as 9:00 AM. Please notify the front desk that you are
a room
guest and they will make arrangements for you. As a
courtesy to our other guests, you must register in person by 9:00
PM or have called for late check-in instructions to access the property. |
| A $20 non-refundable deposit , per reservation, will be charged
to your Mastercard or Visa at the time of reservation. This non-refundable
deposit will go towards your room when you arrive. If you do not
have a credit card and want to use cash, the room must be paid in
full at the time of reservation. We have a 48-hour cancellation policy.
That means if there is at least 48 hours notice of cancellation you
will only forfeit your $20 deposit. If you cancel less than 48 hours
ahead (or don't show) your credit card will be charged full price
for your first night's reservation. If this is a multiple night reservation
and we don't hear from you, you will be charged for the first night
and all other reserved nights will be forfeited and made available
to people on the stand-by list. |
| We ask that day soakers park their vehicles perpendicular to the
building or the neighboring fence. Registered overnight guests will
be assigned parking upon arrival. |
| Pets must be tied up to your vehicle or your tent pad and must
be quiet. Pets are not welcome at any soaking area or in any of our
grass areas. People wishing to walk their pets should use County
RD. 3, (south towards Ouray). Make sure you clean up after your pet!
In order to provide a peaceful and tranquil experience for everyone,
we require pets to be on a leash at all times. |
| Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Please see that your children's behavior or play is not disruptive
to the enjoyment of others. Adults are responsible for their children's
behavior. |
| All of our soaking areas and the grounds within the privacy fence
are clothing optional. Please wear a towel, robe, or something inside
the main building and in the campground. Remember, ”be nude,
not lewd.” Cameras are not allowed. |
All guests are welcome at Orvis until their behavior interferes
with another's visit. If a person is blatantly being rude, they will
be asked to leave immediately.
If two people complain about someone being aggressive, invasive,
etc., that person will be asked to leave indefinitely. We reserve
the right to ask any soaker exhibiting drunken or obnoxious behavior
to leave without refund at any time. |
| The kitchen is open from 7:00 AM until 10:00 PM. Feel free to use
our dishes and utensils. Please clean up and put away anything you
use.
Complementary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are available. |
| Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM until 7:00 AM everyday. During
these hours, use a soft voice and please do not leave your vehicle
running.
The kitchen is closed, but bathrooms and changing areas are open.
Please, no hairdryers, loud music, generators, etc. until after 9:00
AM. |
Glass, cameras, alcohol and electronics (cell phones, pagers,
etc.) are NOT ALLOWED on any of the grounds. Room guests and campers
may have these items at their room/ campsite only. We highly discourage
alcohol or drug use prior to soaking. No drunken, obnoxious or aggressive
behavior anytime ,anywhere .
Smoking is permitted in designated areas only. |
| All unclaimed lost and found items are kept for two weeks. Claimed
lost and found items are kept for two weeks after notification, then
disposed of. If you would like something returned, please contact
us immediately for return procedures. |
Open fires are allowed in our designated fire pit unless there is
a countywide ban. We ask you to be responsible for tending to and
putting out your own campfire.
